Default Intellivision Prototype found - how 2 dump ROM image?

Finally have something to brag about (be nice its been a LONG time)
Paid $3.99 for it and knew from its heft it was special.
Opened it up and there's two EPROMS labeled version .11
    (See pics)
Game is Empire Strikes Back for INTV
Game plays fine but I don't have a retail copy to compare to so don't know if its different.

I think I should perform my classic gamers civic duty and find someone to copy ROM image to, right? IIRC there is a limited lifespan to a burned EPROM
I live in NJ so is this something that Digital Press would do? Or is this not necessary and EPROMS actually last forever?

    Thanks!

If it's lasted this long already, there's probably no hurry. Whatever you do, just don't take the stickers off under any circumstances – they might be covering a window that will wipe the chips if it's exposed to light.

A member offered to copy the code but I'm hesitant to ship this thing across the country.
I'd love to find someone in NJ if possible.

Some quick research seems that many EPROMS seem to last a long time as long as they are good quality chips. These are Intel 2732-A and seem to not have an issue with bit-rot / leakage whatever as long as they are protected from sunlight.
These chips have labels over the programming window and I've reassembled the cartridge so its well protected.

Interesting factoid I found out: All Adventurevision games are actually EPROMS - I've never heard of the AV games going bad.

I played the game a bit and my feedback is its wickedly hard. I'll give it a go again today and see if I can post some video. Based on some video I found of release version it seems like the difficulty is high on my Proto version.

Anyone in NJ metro area that can dump the ROM contents?

    Thanks!
