Well that didn't take long. Obviously in its infancy but a great start.

Cool nosurprise though given Nintendo never gets a clue and still uses the GC architecture with some modification to it. Undoubtedly big hardware probably won't be required later either when optimised either I'd bet. Wouldn't be surprised if my laptop could rock it out with the gtx 980m inside.

From what I have read it is currently very CPU dependent and even then only uses one core to emulate the WiiU's three. It will get there and I can't wait!

I was on my tablet at the time when I wrote that so I didn't look as I was making some teriyaki chicken dinner. I just figured with the Dolphin overhead with GC and Wii that a moderately nice i5/i7 should in the end handle it with a decent quality dx10 or 11 card with a couple GB of RAM on itself along with a healthy main RAM too. Since Nintendo has become very sloppy since making that purely awesome chipset the GC had just aping it now twice with moderate boosts emulation doesn't surprise me much at all. The WiiU is a beefier Wii in HD, a logical extension of the last, and the last before (GC) where it started. Given I used to follow every single day for years emulator development, mostly 8/16bit Nintendo(NES/SNES/N64 and GB stuffs) I know how things can go from crude to stunning sometimes in months, sometimes in years. It helps to know what's going on inside if it's documented or not as that can greatly help, and as it's a beefy Wii crudely putting it, I'd think it closed to documented than not in this case. Dolphin surprised when they busted out the Wii support.

This one isn't Dolphin though, but it wouldn't surprise me if they're on top of it anyway with their bones in place already. This guy is claiming an every two weeks cycle so it could be a fun watch.

Amazing news. Hopefully, this will begin the start of the Wii-U homebrew scene as well.

Good point. Maybe some people will find stuff regions got excluded out of and do that as well. The library is so limited anything good that didn't make it would be a plus at this rate. Maybe it'll get weird in years like the N64 scene evolved into where people took the old games and bumped up the quality too.
