Hey guys. I recently picked up a nice large CRT tv (Sylvania 6432gg) for my game room for the purpose of retro gaming. For now, I'm gonna be using my laptop as an emulator for many classic consoles until I start collecting the actual consoles myself . It has a VGA output and HDMI (I doubt I'd use that one though). The TV, composite, s-video, and component are my options. I would prefer to use component as that has the highest quality. It does not accept RGB input though which is what a simple vga to component adapter would use. Is there some kind of converter that would change the VGA's RGB signal, to a 480i YPbPr signal you could recommend? If all else fails, I'm ok with using S-video because it is the cheapest solution.
