A blind gamer has completed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - nearly five years after starting the Nintendo classic.
Terry Garrett began his playthrough of Ocarina of Time on 8th May 2011 with the beginning of a YouTube series designed to show he was capable of completing 3D games as well as 2D games.
Garrett, who studied engineering at the University of Colorado, uses in-game sounds to navigate the virtual environments. Left and right-hand speakers placed directly in front of him signal where in-game sounds are coming from. Playing an emulated version of Ocarina of Time, Garrett uses save states for quick trial and error progression.
