A point and click adventure based on a cartoon by Terry Jones of Monty Python, Blazing Dragons is a comical, yet brief game on the Saturn and PS1. It does some things well to make playing what would usually be a mouse game by using buttons to quickly scroll through actions, which changes your cursor to display your choice. It has a large amount of spoken dialogue for a game of the time, and used some pretty well-known voice actors like Terry Gilliam and Cheech Marin. The puzzles generally make pretty good sense, the backgrounds and sprites are nice and colorful, and the text and speech are actually pretty well written and acted.
I have the Saturn version, which I enjoy playing every few years once I've forgotten enough of the puzzles to make it fun again. There aren't any deaths or dead ends, so I find it to be a relaxing play when I'm ready for it.
