    Default Wii U pad problems

So the other day I woke up and suddenly the Y button just won't respond in any way to any game. I had recently replaced the screen but there didn't seem to be any issues whatsoever for a few weeks.

The button was working great one night, then the next day nothing. It's not sticky, I'm not sure about the connections but those used to be fine. Anybody have this issue? Any experience? How do I fix this problem?

Was there a rubber pad between the plastic Y Button and the circuit board? The rubber pad may have either become stuck, or 'snapped'. By snap, I mean the rubber 'nipple' separated from the 'base'. It would be held in place by the button itself, but wouldn't be applying enough pressure to the board.

I had something like that happen to a PSX controller. Only thing I could think of.
