Default What should I do with a Sega Pico?

I'm trying to reclaim some basement storage space so that I can finish part of it and have real space for my collection. An easy thing to part with is the Sega Pico, except it seems I am unable to because no one actually wants one of these. Any thoughts on what to do with it? Here's the ad I have up on Craigslist: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...501953467.html

How often do you repost your ad? With that many games it should sell. I remember selling a system with hookups for $30, I can't remember including more than 1 game with it.

Or if there's an overpriced game store near you they might pay you a fair amount for it. I remember bringing several Japanese Pico games to one near me and getting $5 each for them, I couldn't sell them locally and the store ended up having them for years after that.

I'd say I probably re-up the ad once a week. Maybe less.

I had dismissed eBay out of hand because of shipping, but I happen to have a ginormo box and they go for a enough that it might be worthwhile.

Is that box a bit oversize even for the Pico? Maybe you already know, but you could make your own boxes. I did that with a jar of buttons sold on eBay recently; I took a much bigger box and cut two corners out then put them together and taped it all together. Funny enough the writing on the side even lined up. USPS never told me it was invalid shipping.

I had an old ass dirty pico with some games years ago and ended up just giving it away eventually because no one wanted to buy it. Its made by sega but its mostly educational games for kids and no one really wants it.

I got one a Pico for some reason at a yard sale like 7 years ago. Its just sitting in a storage tote and I know it will be a bitch to ship.

It took awhile, but eventually someone bought it off Craigslist. He was a (sega?) collector. I feel a little bad about it because my daughter asked to play it the other day, but I just have to keep telling myself that playing it once or twice a year isn't really worth it.

haha.. i have the same trouble as well..

I have a big sega pico collection in Japan, and it is like $1 per game, and no-one wants because of the postage. it's such a good deal, and actually tough to find some of these games complete.

I was supposed to be given a Pico months ago after I bought a couple boxed up complete learning games for it at a flea market. The flake got back to me once to say they found it, but then never again to turn it over. Kind of sucks, so I put the stuff up on ebay. Surprisingly it's the one game worth a good bit in the box, that Sonic Gameworld title (also Pocahontas.)
