Default TV or Movie Based Games?

TV Show based games do not get nearly the same attention as movie based games it seems. Is there a particular reason for this? I checked out a few random games and think we need to lighten up on movie games being bad because I have yet to find a good TV show one. Any suggestions?

There are a bunch of Star Trek games, for everything from the arcade to PC, the 2600 to the NES to the Genesis. Yes some might be more movie tie in, but there are also specific TOS, TNG, DS9 and even games just tied to ST in general.

This page suggest Tiny Toon Adventures and Ren & Stimpy: Stimpy's Invention, but don't know. I've never played these kind of games...might be good idea..hmm.

Most of those are cartoons. Most of the good games based on TV shows I could think of are cartoons as well. The video is mostly about games based on live action sitcoms, which I am having a hard time thinking of any good games.

The only TV show-based game are the cartoon ones. I played most of them back in the Gameboy era.

I've always thought JC's Dark Angel on PS2 was fun. Maybe that's because I was really into Jessica Alba at the time, though. haha.
