Default Game of the Day Index

Thought I'd start this today while my son is napping. This thread will just be a quick link index for game of the day topics, and I'll probably link a few other threads full of game write ups, just to make it easy to find games by title. Trying to list them in chronological order. This also may lead to a brief "re-mastering" if I have time to go through and add screenshots to the early posts or add some clearer thoughts to the really brief ones, but who knows. The date is the link to each thread.

Ok. I've. Finished adding all of my original GOTD posts, all off bb_hood's excellent GOTD posts, and started adding the Halloween GOTD posts. So, I'll finish linking those as the month rounds out, and then add in Edmond Dantes' GOTD posts as well.

Thanks guys! It's a lot of dragging and dropping, but it's getting dangerously close to current. Just finished adding Edmond Dantes' detailed Game of Whenever write ups and got current on the Halloween games. So, aside from new stuff, I need to do the poorly documented imports from Import Mania and if I can find them all, I'll probably link in Steven's SNES and Saturn stuff.

Linked in another fifty or so posts from the import thread I do. Some considerably obscure and oddball shit like Odo Odo Oddity and Noon in there.

I would like to cash the points in for one of those little plastic frogs that hops when you push down on its butt.

Finished adding the rest of the import thread links. Now adding console in each link to make them easier to search, then I'll probably start adding pictures to some of the older posts without them, then add a little better description to the first few GOTDs. In December, there'll be another 25 GOTD "games in toyland" posts for the holiday season.

Heheh, this is more than 300 games covered. I feel like I should compile them into the world's shittiest retro game magazine.

You want to compile them into Gamefan?

I was thinking more along the lines of those shitty Consumer Guide ones that you'd see in Scholastic book order forms or school book fairs:

Oh, that's a quite a bit better then. I'd have hated for you to liken your informed offerings to that of Gamefan.

Heh, well, I have actually played through these games before reviewing them, which is probably an improvement on Gamefan's process.

Went through and fixed the first four games on the list that were in one thread, giving each a unique link to its individual post. Also, added additional text at the end of each of those, as they were basically just blurbs that said, "Hey, this is a game I like!" I left the original text intact, but added and edit section at the end. I plan to go through and add in screenshots to all of the games that currently don't have them as time allows.

Added in Edmond Dantes' Wizardry write up. It contains some fun little mini adventures that give you some fun insight into his sense of humor. Check it out!

New GOTD series coming soon, too. Expecting a lot more free time toward the summer when my sister's situation normalizes and things settle. May go for another massive streak again.
