Default How to re-attach plastic to NES Game Genie

Picked up an extra game genie in a lot.

Tried it out and it worked perfectly! Only issue is when I tried taking it out of the NES, the plastic pull snapped off the main cartridge (see attached picture).

Upon further inspection, it appears someone tried to fix this before with some kind of glue.

I scraped the glue off, and tried two unsuccessful attempts using the following:
First try: Bondic. Didn't work at all! Like having glue that never dries. Would never recommend for this use, but have used with other jobs and works great.
Second try: Gorilla glue. Glued it and clamped it for a day. Seemed to hold, until I tried a game, attempted to pull it out of the NES and voila! Broken again.

    Any thoughts guys?

That Game Genie will ruin your NES cart slot, don't use it! The PCB connector of the cheat cart is thicker then an NES game cart connector.

That's great advice, I actually never noticed that!

Any ideas on how I can re-attach the plastic so that I can sell it to someone else?
