    Default Mystery Guitar

I just picked this piece up a few days ago with no brand or model number indicated anywhere on the outside of the unit. Anyone here seen one of these Wii Guitars and can identify it? I think I might have discovered a bootleg in the wild, but I'm not certain. The neck comes off the body too if that helps. The plastic beneath the woodgrain on the neck is also reddish, but the back of the body is matte black.

Hmm, I'd swear it was just a cherry woodgrain skin, but I haven't seen one quite like that either; it all seems...off. Sorry for not being too helpful there.

No worries! Thanks for responding at all!

I did some more digging and managed to find the same body, just without the cherry woodgrain. https://www.amazon.com/Aftermarket-N.../dp/B018IMKUHY

It could be a skin, though I think it was done during manufacture since the plastic on the neck inside is reddish beneath it.

So, I still have no idea who built these, but I do at least know that it's aftermarket and appears to be compatible with the Gibson Les Paul neck (it fits at least. haven't powered it on).
