If this is to be popular today and have a chance Shout will have to go the lowest common denominator types... EA Sports, FPS games like Call of Duty as well, and perhaps here and there some 1on1 or party(smash bros) fighting game. This will have none of the fun of the original and just a huge ego stroke for the dude bro type gamers of now. No thanks. You won't see the variety and likes of the old arcade and 8bit console stuff being thrown around as their target audience would get bored fast. Hopefully proven wrong, but I doubt it.

This isn't going to cater towards the dude bro audience. It will probably feature stars that were young teens during the heyday of 80s' arcade games, along with older gamers that can appreciate those older arcade games.

    I'll just leave this here.

If you're right and it doesn't I'd watch it. DVR it for lunch time breaks to watch if they ran it on tv, otherwise a disc set could work.

I'd rather the original 1982-84 TBS series be released on DVD!
