    Default Crash Trilogy sales incredible

For some time now we are aware that videogame nostalgia is upon us, that the interest in retro-gaming is steadily increasing and we experience for years now that small developers and small publishers discovered a profitable market of a myriad of new 'retro'-games, let it be shoot-em-ups, action platformers, RPGs and even - yes - isometric puzzle platformers. At times it seems my PS4 got into a time warp to the 8bit- and 16bit-era, not to mention the incredibly enjoyable and ingenious Super Mario 3D World on the WiiU.

Despite the success of the new Rayman games, Gianna Sisters, and Song of the Deep, the commercial success of the remakes of the Crash Bandicoot series amazed me.

Crash Bandicoot Trilogy sold incredibly well in the UK and became the biggest single platform launch of the year even surpassing Horizon Zero Dawn. What's next? A new Crash Bandicoot game for the new consoles like Shantae Half Genie Hero? With this success more than likely.

I got that game the day after it came out.

    Awesome game.

I enjoyed Crash as a kid too.
Real collectors drive Hondas, Toyotas, Chevys, Fords, etc... not Rolls Royces.

Just remembered that you started a Crash thread already, I should have posted that in your thread. Sorry about that!

The remake of the Crash games seem indeed great. I only played a demo (like always I wait until the price drops), the controls seem to be spot on, the gameplay is faithful to the originals, and the graphics are gorgeous. These are remakes I truly like.

I also have fond memories about the Crash games. These were platformers I loved the most besides the Mario games, I never liked to play Sonic. The one-hit-rule is brutal, though.
