Default Rez Infinite now on Steam

Yep, this was an instant buy. Kinda wish I didn't have crippling vertigo now as if there's one game that would lend itself to VR, it's this one.

Aye, I played a lot of Rez when I imported a Japanese copy of it for my Dreamcast many moons ago in the early 2000's. It's quite the experience. I tasted purple and saw the wind and heard textures for a week afterward! (Heh, a synesthesia joke if you will.)

Quasi-related: can you have multiple controllers vibrate with the beat?

The Xbox 360 version allowed you to turn on up to four controllers for vibrating enjoyment.

Something that is usually overlooked by those who didn't have the TranceVibrator, is that the T.V. provided a whole different set of vibrations than the Dual Shock controller. It was a complementary rather than redundant experience.

My Trance Vibrator was stolen by the assistant of the guy who carpeted my gameroom (along with my copies of R-Type Final and Champions of Norrath. I couldn't prove it, of course, but they all mysteriously disappeared after the carpet was installed).

I didn't care so much about the games, but the Trance Vibrator was a gift from my wife. I hadn't even used it yet.
