Smile I Have a New Videogame Fanzine! (And It's Free!)

Hello, everyone! I wanted to pass along some good news: I have a new zine to show off and share with everyone.

For the past year, I've been working on writing several book manuscripts, which will finally see publication this year. In August, I also created a new 48-page zine, which is being used as a free promotional and list-building tool. That means I'm sending free copies of the digital version (identical to the print edition) to everyone who joins my email newsletter/mailing list. The e-zine is optimized for smartphones and tablets, as well as laptops and desktop computers.

The zine is called Bocanada, and it features classic game reviews, as well as articles on music, movies and modern art. I wrote and assembled everything on Scribus, and all the content comes from my upcoming books. There will be future issues, but I have not yet decided on whether it will be bimonthly or quarterly. Everything depends on my work schedule right now.

I'm going to post the link to my mailing list page. All you have to do is enter your name and email address, and the MailChimp software will send you the e-zine right away. Feel free to share your thoughts and impressions, especially if you were part of the video game zine scene back in the day.

I like how you used Scribus to make this.
