Default Super Mario Land 2 in Color: ROM Hack "Super Mario Land DX"

SML: DX is a color hack for Super Mario Land 2 in the same vein as Link’s Awakening DX. It adds color, lets you play as Luigi with different physics, and removes some of the lag.

Wow, looks great! Shocking they never did a color version back then. Great game.

Yeah that and the sequel and Metroid 2 would have been good sellers colorized, I bet.

According to what I hear, you need the Super Mario Land 2 1.0 version of the ROM to use with the patch.

This was always one of my favorite gameboy games and I was thinking of playing through it again sometime soon. Looks like the decision has been made for me.

If you make an MD5 hash-sum of the ROM and the result is A8413347D5DF8C9D14F97F0330D67BCE, then you know you've got the right ROM dump.

Played through it this weekend. They did a really good job. There wasn't much, if anything that seemed off. Playing as Luigi felt a little weird though. Not that the Luigi Physics felt wrong. It just felt off for this game after playing as Mario all these years.
