Default Value of sealed Pokemon TCG booster box?

    I've got a "What's it worth?" here.

This Pokemon TCG box is from 2007, which is around when I acquired it. Since I've never been into the cards, I never bothered opening it. I know some Pokemon TCG stuff can be worth good money, but searching on eBay, I can't find a single current or completed auction of this specific box. I just find sealed individual packs and the big boxes of packs sealed. Anybody have any idea on what its value would be?

    (to me, at least)

The closest thing you can get to a true value would be to set it a penny on eBay and keep the auction open for at least a week. Whatever it sells for is what it's worth. or if someone has sold the exact same thing as this on there, that would give you a good idea of what you can expect.

Craigslist price would be about 50% of what your eBay sale price is.

Garage sale would probably be 1/3 of it.

I mean it's worth on the market, not anybody's personal assessment. :/

If I sell it, it would be on eBay or a forum. As I said, I can't find an auction for an identical item. I've never been one for starting auctions at a penny, especially if I'm not totally savvy about what I'm selling. I wouldn't want to risk not putting the proper terms in the title and then shooting myself in the foot in terms of how much I could get for it. Anyway, I'm looking for this specific item's value, not general selling tips. I'm already well familiar with selling games and game merch.

That's always a tough spot when you can't find a comp. For me personally in this situation I often start to see $$ signs, overprice, and then sit on it until I practically forget I even have the thing. Hah! I don't know the pokemon market at all, though, sorry. Overpricing isn't a terrible strategy, then knock $5 off every time you re-list, or every week if you are less patient. Maybe take offers, if it is popular enough, you'll quickly get an idea of what the low end would be. And here I'm doing the same thing... giving you general selling advice that I'm sure you already know. Meant as commiseration.

I value pokemon cards at $0.05 each when in bulk. The exceptions are to the older early cards that are still in near perfect condition.

Anything else like sealed stuff is random. Even collectors won't know what to pay unless they see completed examples. I assume near worthless unless I can confirm it otherwise.

I was looking up individual sealed packs of the series shown on the back of the box and saw that those were selling for around $50 apiece, so that's why I figured a box with three sealed packs could be worth some cash.

I tried some alternate searches and actually managed to find a seller with the exact same item listed as "Pokemon Holon Phantom, Unseen Forces, Legend Maker special power pack box", and it sold for $250. But I'm wondering if the seller listed it very well. They didn't even put "TCG" in the title, and since it was a BIN, I wonder if it could've sold for even more yet. I'm happy to have found one listing, but I wish I could find others so I could get a sense for an average.

The closest I found were these sealed booster boxes from 2003 that recently sold for $80 and $100 (x3).

I was looking for a similar booster box and had no luck, but looks like old booster packs always go high. Use BIN option, if you start an auction, don't expect too much, not sure how many people are looking for the same item and that could result in no bidding war.
