I don't have a problem with the artwork since it's by lizardcube and i like what they did with wonderboy.Still with, dotemu being involved i'm concern and dunno about guard crush games.I just hope the game play turns out right.

I'm sure it'll be fine as long as they get the controls right. SoR has a really simple gameplay format these days. I can't imagine it being too hard to replicate that (as long as the controls are good, as I said.) I thought Double Dragon IV was pretty good. Different dev, I know. To be honest, if they can't make a decent SoR, they have no business programming. I'm not trying to dog SoR...all I mean is, it's such an established genre with such a long history, I don't see how they could mess this up. I won't be preordering, though. I'll wait to see how it looks at release.

True if the controls are right then it's fine.Beside it doesn't take much to make a beat'em up in this day and age.Still,i will be cautiously optimistic at this point.Since the game is not a in house production by sega and it's being made by western developers.Though i did enjoy what lizardcube did with the wonderboy remake so this might turn out right.

Im waiting for more characters to be announced. They've only shown 2, both old. Theres never been less than 3 and always at least 1 new per entry.

I was hoping if they ever did a revival, it would mimic Sonic Mania and be a 'what if' Sega Saturn styled pixel art game with more/larger sprites on screen, plus maybe some light 3D elements or scaling, a larger color pallet, CD soundtrack and transparencies.
