About to make the leap into modern gaming with a PS4 Pro, I've been looking at lower-cost smaller-sized 4K TVs.
In particular I'm leaning toward the:
43" Samsung NU7100
49" Samsung NU8000 or
49" Sony Bravia XBR49X900E

Besides a PS4 I'll also be inputting classic consoles from the RetroTink upscaller at 480p, in my research I've not been able to understand how well any of these sets will handle that lower input.
Do any of your have deeper insight into these sets, or a better alternative?

I've read that the Samsung NU7100 does not correct Judder. How much of an issue is this?
Is Motion Interpolation something I'll want for playing older upscalled content?
I was almost settled on the Samsung NU8000, but I've read how the Smart TV interface is littered with advertisements which can not be turned off. I think that is a deal breaker.
Is an internet connection required for using a Smart TV, will I be able to use these modern TVs for games and movies without an internet connection.

Is a TV even necessary, should I go with a 4K monitor instead?
Any suggestions or recent experience?
