Default What's Bear Hugger saying? (Punch Out Wii)

So I was watching, with a friend, this blindfolded speed run of Punch Out Wii:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUpT7fHi1lA

At the Bear Hugger fight, I was suddenly like "Wait, did Bear Hugger just say 'f-cker?'"

It's at 13:25 in the video. I listened to it twice and both times it sounded like the f-word.

I don't think it sounds anything closer to fucker. It sounds like hawkeye or atleast something eye. No idea why he'd say that, but that's what it sounds like.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

Many times,as i've played punchout wii i never heard bear hugger saying the f word.I all ways thought he was saying, sucker beside the usual need uh hug !! Beside the game is rated E i don't think nintendo would have liked it if next level games had slipped in a cuss word.

Most of those are just myths. Occasionally caused by a potentially similar phenomenon... people hearing what they want to hear, especially when it might not be completely clear what is being said.

Conspiracy theories, then again i didn't grow up on disney animated flicks so take what you will.If you want to look at mishearing things look at speech samples for the sega genesis. Some games are so muffled it's easy to mistake it for cussing or other words.

So what happened here was I was watching this because I had never heard of Punch Out Wii and blindfolded Punch Out runs are amazing, but I wound up getting distracted and needing to look up something so I kept it running in the background, and just happened to hear that while looking up other games and was like "wait, did he say that?"

I rewound to listen for it and heard it again and was like "this can't be right. The most Nintendo would ever do is maybe 'damn', they wouldn't do the f-word."

But no matter how much I listen to it the most I can convince myself is he's saying "sucker!" but it still sounds like swearing to me.

The real question is, did censors let an f-bomb slip by in Crazy Taxi during Way Down the Line by Offspring?

That's Sega though, and they've always been more extreme than Nintendo.

Like let me put it this way: if someone tells you the Grateful Dead did drugs, nobody would be surprised. But if they told you the same thing about Barney the Dinosaur, it would be interesting.

Crazy Taxi is also rated T for strong language.
