Default So there's a Link's Awakening remake coming to the Switch

And I'm gonna just say it... Link in this game looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo.

He just looks like a toy. And honestly, kind of what he looked like in the photographs in the DX version:

The best part of the game was going from screen to screen (especially when you do the glitch trick.) Looks like that will be lost in the remake

I'll pick it up eventually, it's my favorite Zelda if you don't count other series titles(like 3D Dot Game Heroes or Alundra) that I like better. It's getting a physical release which is a plus. I'm disappointed Cadence of Hyrule didn't though, being an exclusive and a completely different game it's a game I'm more interested in whether I happen to like it better or not.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

I think it looks real cute. It's not enough to motivate me to get a Switch, but I'm more interested in it than most other Switch games.

Link looks more like a bad-ass Hermie from "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".

From some reason the way the characters look in this remake remind me of play mobile toys.

You know, I didn't think that until you mentioned it. You're right! Now there some merchandising they can do!

Between this and Yoshi's Crafted World I think it's fair to say there's some love for the diorama aesthetic at Nintendo.

Considering that this remake of a remake is being touted as superior to the originals in every way imaginable, I have to ask: is this game compatible with the Game Boy Printer too?

No way they can cram that onto the printer. My question is are they bringing back the Guardian Acorn and Piece of Power, and if so, that song. It still haunts me...
