Haven't had a lot of money to spare to go game shopping with, so all I've bought recently was Destroy All Humans for the PS4, the Limited Run remake of the original PS2 version. And from Amazon I received Gal Gun 2 and Curse of the Sea Rats for PS4.

A couple days ago I went to several stores and found virtually nothing other than that Destroy All Humans, but one thing did stand out - a Half Price Books had an Arcade 1Up Atari Couchcade. It's a plug-and-play console that sits on your lap (with a cushion on the bottom) and plays a bunch of Atari arcade games that are primarily trackball and spinner based. It seems to go for around $200 online but this one was only $99. I couldn't justify the money for it, and I wanted to research it first. I already have a tabletop Arcade 1Up Atari Asteroids unit with almost all of the games the Couchcade has in it already, so I'm glad I didn't act on impulse and buy something I couldn't afford to splurge on that I can already play.

I had to force myself out of the house to do something with my Saturday - I took a vacation week but after paying a bunch of bills haven't had too much money to go shopping. I decided to go to the Dallas headquarters of Half Price Books, and they didn't have anything. Down the street was the headquarters of the Movie Trading Company, so I went there and bought a boxed Tiger Electronics Rocket Pinball and Sengoku Musou Z3 for the Playstation 3. I was really happy about that Rocket Pinball, always wanted one back in the day. It naturally has corroded battery terminals, of course.

Stopped at a GameStop yesterday, picked up Ghost Song and Mozart Requiem for the PS4. Mozart Requiem looks weird, you play Mozart in a murder mystery in a reproduced 1788 Prague. It was only $7, so I had to pick it up. Also, I ordered Gungrave: G.O.R.E. for the PS4 off Amazon.

Went to a GameStop the other day, and picked up Sifu, Pac-Man World Re-Pac, and Slide Stars for the PS4. I ordered Marvel Pinball Epic Collection off Amazon after reading an article about video pinball in Retro Gamer, and realizing that I already have the three other pinball games for the PS4.

Yesterday I went to a Half Price Books that usually has good stuff in it, and only found Who Shot Johnny Rock? for the Philips CD-i. And then at a nearby Movie Trading Company I picked up Toto Temple Deluxe, shrinkwrapped but with a circle cut out of the bar code.

I played Slide Stars yesterday, it's supposedly stocked up with influencers from wherever, but naturally I have no idea who any of them are. And I was horrified to discover how brief the game is. There's only two areas, a jungle world and an "American Swamp" world that was filled with crazy stereotypical ideas of what a swamp is supposed to look like from people who'd never visited America before. Bizarre. And that was it, the game was suddenly over. I'm glad I only paid $7 for it. There's some online stuff that I'll never play (because I'm intensely antisocial due to working retail my whole life) and some split-screen two player options, but it all seems a bit limited. It was still fairly fun, but quickly over.

I finally found enough stuff to post here. I bought a PS1 game, Tempest X3, at a Half Price Books (it's in the PS3 case looking surprisingly slick). I ordered Just Die Already and Enter Digiton: Heart of Corruption for the PS4 off Amazon, and yesterday I managed to make it to a few stores and found very little. Little Nightmares Complete Edition and Hero Land Knowable Edition for the PS4 - Hero Land is complete in box with the game sealed, but it was battered a lot on the shelves.

I'd like to post a picture but nothing seems to be working on my end at the moment.

I have a couple days finds, but my internet has been down for three days. I hate Spectrum.

I ordered Concept Destruction off Amazon. The Dollhouse and Megaman Legacy Collection came from a Half Price Books the day before yesterday, and Aragami and Fallen Legion Revenants came from my favorite game store. I managed to make it to my second favorite game store ten minutes before closing, and bought Loop 8 Celestial Edition and Charon's Staircase.
