Default Documentaries and Books about the History of European, Asian, and South American Computer and Video Games

Most books and documentaries about the history of video games are about the American side of things, sometimes with a few mentions of the Japanese side of things if you are fortunate. However, this gives a lopsided account of history. What are some series or books about "the rest of the story," the ones mainly about the Asian (such as Japanese) part of video game history or the European (such as German) or South American (such as Brazilian) parts of what happened?

Not a book, but shmuplations.com has a wealth of translated interviews of Japanese developers.

And while not a documentary, Game Center CX covers a lot of Japanese game history in a video format.

The docs I would recommend are the From Bedrooms to Billions series out of the UK, which currently has three full length films.

The big book site would be https://www.bitmapbooks.co.uk/ although I'm personally not a fan, as their books tend to be gigantic and 75% are just screencaps.

Larry Bundy Jr on YouTube talks a lot about the history of British video gaming.
Real collectors drive Hondas, Toyotas, Chevys, Fords, etc... not Rolls Royces.

I was going to mention him too. There's also Nostalgia Nerd who mentions quite a bit about similar things and talks about plenty of older home computers as that's what was big in Britain instead of consoles.

Nostalgia Nerd is very informative, I've learned a lot from him.
