Default Having a blast lately with older EA racing games for PS1/PS2 !

Using PCSX2 and ePSXe emulators I been having a blast the last few nights playing some new to me and old favorites EA racing titles.

Been playing Nascar Rumble - Playstation & the sequel Rumble Racing - Playstation 2 and remembering what a blast it was playing these back in the day. Really just adrenaline rush racing with power ups like Mario Kart, the "NASCAR" licensing didn't really add anything to the point they dropped it in the PS2 follow up. Just spent a few hours playing both, forgot what a blast they are to play. 😛😎 Not the prettiest games and not often brought up even in retro gaming circles so thought I would mention and recommend them to anyone who may have over looked them. PICS FOR REFERENCE .

I played a couple hours of Road Rash 3D - PS1. Ah man, it all came back like it was just the other day, all the locations, getting my as handed to me the last minute before the finish line etc. Good times. 😆😎

I had a copy of Road Rash 3D many years ago that I couldn't get to play. Love the Road Rash games though. Road Rash 32 bit was the best.

Never got into NASCAR both in real life and in video games.

Oh I can't stand Nascar myself but in this case as I attempted to make clear, this PS1 game literally has nothing to do with the actual sport of Nascar I guess they figured the branding would help but otherwise it is just a racer with power ups and various stages ala Mario Kart so really don't let the "Nascar" branding dissuade you from trying it out should the opportunity arise, you will NOT just be going in circles

if youre into arcade style racing games and you have a Dreamcast, I highly recommend Speed Devils, Suzuki Alstare Racing, Hydro Thunder. though being that theyre 20 year old games Im sure youre familiar with them or have played them

Love my Dreamcasts! I still have 3 of them, I like those games for sure, well I think the only one I have NOT played is Suzuki Alstare Racing, I will be sure to check it out soon.
