    Default gamestop.com - retro games

Has anyone been on gamestop's site lately and noticed there are very few retro games available to buy now? Its really weird..just a few months ago i bought a bunch of gba and gameboy games as well as a few snes titles.....now there's like nothing...almost every single game they list underneath says no shippig available...something like that.....also, something else that's weird....they have a bunch of "fake" snes/nes/genesis games...dont know what to think about that...these are games that are obviously third party that i've never heard of....if you all get a chance, go over to their site and see what you think

I've noticed that as well. they were actually really good when it came to price but yeah nothing available. and I just think trade-ins in general are not happening as much. I see this with pawn shops where I live too. people hanging onto their games. that or they just sell them on Facebook

I think the reality is they were hoarding retro stuff for years without selling it. I think only certain locations still accepted them. Once they went live selling online, the games dried up with no new trade ins really rolling in.

they tried to be a game restoration company. I dont know if they still do it but they bragged about how their experts would inspect the games, get the stickers off, clean them, etc
