Default Price check on my collection (considering selling it)

I am considering selling my collection, I didn't include any of the boxes or manuals that i have in the app so im not 100% sure if that affects the pricing when imputing the collection.
what should i expect to get if i sold this as a lot?

I'd expect a deep discount on the whole thing as a lot.

Any collector will most likely have many of these titles already: Super Mario Bros., Zelda, Mega Man (at least the first three), TMNT...anyone who already has these (most people) will consider those worth either nothing or would want to get it at a discount because they'd then have to turn around and re-sell it (or sell what they currently have, if the one from your collection is in better shape / more complete). The boxes and manuals and other knickknacks really do make a difference, so it's hard to really gauge how much this is worth without that info.

Then you've got the fact that there are probably relatively few people who have several thousand available to buy this collection. When a copy of StarTropics II goes up on eBay, you have everyone with a spare $200 who sees that as the one and only game they have left to complete their personal collection and they're willing to bid that up. But if that's the one I have left...I'm not dropping a few thousand to get that one and have to sell the rest. Probably. Time is money...the people who have money probably don't have the time to re-sell a bunch of extras, and those who do have the time might not have thousands in disposable income.

I'd say $5k max and maybe less? But that's just what I'd be willing to drop on it; YMMV.
You are startled by a grim snarl. Before you, you see 1 Red dragon. Will your stalwart band choose to (F)ight or (R)un?

It really does depend on which games are complete or not, if the rare games are complete then the collection could be worth quite a bit more. I would say if the games are all loose then around $5000 would be reasonable. I remember when a lot this size would be worth around $1000-$1500 tops.

Not every collector would want to buy everything in bulk, but by buying in bulk there would be a savings in shipping costs compared to buying games individually online. Basically there would still be plenty of interested buyers in purchasing a bulk lot like this for thousands of dollars, probably more than ever previously. Today the collectors willing to spend a few hundred dollars on a single game have more than just a few hundred dollars available as disposable income.

I started this collection around 1997 after my ex wife took my original nes collection. I use to go hunting for nes games and all of these was purchased locally. I was looking back at some of my past games that i sold thinking i would be able to replace fairly cheaply boy was i way off. little sampson i sold for $88 in 2012, flintstones surprise at dinosuar peak sold for 180 and action 52 was like 50 ish. :/

You actually might be better of shopping this collection to a classic video game store that needs stock. They might do you one better based on profit margins than the average collector.
