I came across this... game (?) while thrift shopping recently, and I'd like to try it out. There's no indication of what kind of battery it requires, though. Does anyone know? Thanks!

pics?
going from what the packaging says on this page for the voltage:
https://info.sonicretro.org/Amazing_Sonic
and taking the size into consideration they look like they could be a 357, also known as a AG13, also known as a LR44... coin batteries have lots of names for the same size...
edit:
the instant i posted i went to close that tab with the link above and noticed they have a manual scan and it does show AG13 in the manual so yea a battery with any of the numbers listed above, they are all the same size and voltage

He might have a hard time keeping the batteries in without the door. And I wonder if there's battery contacts in the door, since the first slot doesn't have contacts on the bottom, only the sides.
I have the door. It just didn't seem to justify a separate picture. No contacts on it. Just a piece of plastic. I may have to fabricate something to keep the batteries in position...
Thanks for your help, guys!

oh yea theres probably supposed to be a metal tab across the top connecting the two batteries on the door.
a strip of folded tin foil should work.
one battery will be + up and the other + down but i'm not sure which
I have one of these Pocket Arcade handhelds, but I believe it's Ecco the Dolphin. I've never actually used it, and the screen cover is kind of broken as it doesn't close properly. I suppose I could look at the battery cover to figure out if it has a metal strip for battery contacts or not. These things seem really flimsy. I still wouldn't mind finding more just for display purposes.
