I hit up Time Extension regularly but that's about it when it comes to "news" sites. I really haven't listened to gaming podcasts in a long time and I can't tell you why I stopped. I was an avid listener to "Retrogaming Radio", "Dual Screen Radio" (both by Shane R. Monroe, who now does "Passenger Seat Radio" which wasn't my thing) and "Retronauts". In recent times I tried listening to "The CoCo Show" but they talked about stuff so technical about the Color Computer I got lost.

While not so much "news", I do listen to/watch "The Retro Show" on YouTube by Perrifractic, who also does "Retro Recipes".

I'll add RetroRGB, which primarily covers new hardware, accessories and mods in the retro gaming scene.
