How basic of a letter do you have to send these animals?
    Any letter writing tips?

They don't actually understand ANYTHING from what I read somewhere. But, I noticed any time I use "symbols" they get confused as hell. I've stuck to simple things that my wife can read, since the town folk show her my letters "Tina is so cute!" things like that

    Default what he said...

too wordy= "what were you talking about?" it took me a few days to get used to. just make believe you're 8 years old, and writing to a 6 year old, lol. eg: Hi Hankster! you always have the coolest clothes! from zink."

short & sweet, and stick a present in for emphasis. if you play as another character or have someone else playing, the animals will show off your letters and sometimes comment on them or ask if the other player thinks it's a good letter! a positive response seems to help...
