    Default Anyone collect Sega Pico....

I can get some brand new games for about $3.00 a piece at a local closeout shop. However, the only one's the guy has are:

    101 Dalmations
    Magic Crayons
    Richard Scarry

Is this a good deal or not?? I might can talk him down a little. He has about 15 games total, but all of them are of the three games above. I would like to trade or sell these, I don't collect for the system. What are your thoughts??? Thanks, Josh.

three bucks for NEW pico stuff is a BARGAIN. you'd only be talking yourself out of a deal if the guy gets pissed off, lol! pico stuff is no longer made, so it'll be tougher to get as time goes by...=^P

I'd also be interested in some, though I've been debating Pico on and off for years now. If you can get me those titles, let me know at slapdash@enteract.com (no hurry).

Pico was bigger in Japan I think -- did you know that there are hardware addons there? Like a steering wheel, and a phone. Great stuff! Even Snoopy/Charlie Brown titles... Wow.

$3 bucks is great deal. I still see Pico stuff at Toys R Us occasionally and it's still priced at $10.

I've found Pico's at thrifts several times, usually they are missing all the hookups and the handle. segaparts.com still sells repalcement parts for it, kinda pricy though.

I only need about 4 games to comlete the library (not including the Majesco re-issues) but there's only like 15.

Went back today to buy the whole lot, but the guy wasn't there. His wife was there instead, and she quoted $5 a piece. I held off and am waiting on the guy to be there. Hopefully tomorrow, I'm in no big hurry. I'm down to my last bit of money now anyways.
