    Default I remember these...

I remember when these came out during the SF II craze. It was a bundle-in with the SNES if I remember correctly. Just like the Mario all stars and Super mario world. What made this stand out was that it is the only 3rd party cart I remember being licensed for a Nintendo system pack-in...its certainly less common than the other pack-ins for the system. It's not quite a duck hunt :-) Game is completely the same tho.

I'm relatively sure that these "Demo Only" cartridges were the ones used in store displays at places like Toys R' Us or Walmart. Apparently Nintendo didn't have a strict return policy, so these ended up getting taken home with employees and such. There's a good chance you'll be able to find this one, Tetris Attack, and Ken Griffey at most Gamestop's.

Does anyone else remember Street Fighter II being included as a pack-in? I sure missed that one. I remember that Killer Instinct was for a while, but I don't remember Street Fighter. Did Nintendo ever put "Not For Resale" on their pack-ins too, because as far as I knew Sega was the only one doing that.

i found this at the same swap meet that i found a virtual boy NFR-DO labeled red alarm. i'm holding on to that one however...

SF2 was a pack-in at some point here in Europe... however I can't remember which SF2 game it was... I think it was Turbo...

    Default Europe

Crap, that's right it was in Europe that I remember hearing of it. It was indeed Killer Instinct that was the pack in here in the states.

    My mistake...

    -Rob

PS anyone seen a SFII pack in here in the states?
