My first bad seller

Well its finally happened. I never thought it would come to this, but I have just had my first bad experience with ebay. Here's the situation. I won an auction for the Zelda Oot display box and retail promo game that they used before the original release. I payed right away and the seller said he would ship the game in a day or two after the auction. Two weeks go by and I still didn't recieve the package so I email the seller. He tells me that he is sorry for the delay and didn't mail the package out yet. He says that he just mailed it out. So I'm like ok no problem. Fast forward to today which is three weeks from the auction, I recieve the package. I open it up and inside is the display box. I open up the box and what do you think is inside. Its a copy of Zelda alright, but its a freaking regular PAL copy of the game. Well needless to say I've had enough. I emailed him and told him that while I will not complain to ebay, neg feedback will be left, which I have done. I am not going through the hassel of trying to get a refund for such a small amount but I'll be damned if I don't warn other people about this. Anywho, here is the auction I am referring to:

Of course I wouldn't reccommend dealing with this person and I just thought I would give everyone here the heads up.

What an a-hole! He's based in PA, and nowhere does he say that it's PAL, not NTSC (natually, if one is based in Canada or the US, you assume that the game is NTSC unless indicated otherwise). It's definitely misleading. And his answer is certainly not helping his case!

It is wrong he says the cart is a promo in his listing not PAL

You should report him for Seller fraud.

Under the Seller Non-performance policy, the following practices are not permitted:



1. Not delivering an item for which payment was accepted.
2. Significantly misrepresenting an item by not meeting the terms and item description that are outlined in the listing

His response to your feedback doesn't help his case at all. Calling you names and swearing in his own feeback

I would report the "JACKASS" just because he was being such a jerk to you in the feedbakcs
