    Default hmm

    This week, I snagged ...

    Mighty Hits - Saturn (complete) - £5
    Crypt Killer - Saturn (complete) - £0.50
Sylvester and Tweety - Megadrive (mint!) - £2.00
    Strikers 1945 Part II - Playstation - £3.00
    Metal Gear - NES - boxed - £10.00
    Bubble Bobble - NES - complete - £10.00

I know the last two aren't exactly steals, but I don't actually collect NES, so they have gone on Ebay to subsidise the rest of my purchases ...

I was pretty pleased with Crypt Killer though ... first time I've got something that cheap on Ebay for ... well, for longer than I can remember!

I stopped by the thrift store by my work and found a Mac Classic for .99. It also happened to be 1/2 price Wednesday, making it .49 cents. Much to my surprise, the thing turns on and comes up asking for a boot floppy. I have absolutely no use for this thing whatsoever, but it makes a cool nightlight on my desk at work.

I also picked up a framed poster of a baby floating in outer space, reaching for a Commodore 64. Underneath it says, "Class of 2001". A bit dated, which made it even cooler. It's definitely going up in the computer room.

This week, I spotted something on eBay I HAD to have, and I contacted the seller and had them end the auction early for me.
It set me back $42 (including shipping), but I just acquired the UBER-rare BOXED Hang-on card for the Sega Master System.
You might say, "hey I've seen Hang-on cards on ebay quite a few times", well have you EVER seen a BOXED one?
The Card version was released in the UK WITHOUT a box, but boxed versions were released in Australia. I haven't seen this boxed card on eBay for over a year, so yeah, I'd definitely say it's rare.

...now if I could only get me a copy of the RARE (possibly Germany only) Great Soccer Sega card.

    D (PSX) $5 w/ GameStop Gamebuck$ & 10% discount card.

I was told by a different store's clerk I'd never find it for less than $30.

    2600 Dishaster $4.99

right next to the $4.99 combats and missle commands at a local gamestore that just added a "classic gaming" display. Thank goodness they don't have a DPGuide yet...

    Default Found this....

While at my local haunt....was checking out the VHS tapes, wasn't expecting to find a Super Famicon game disguised in a typical VHS size box. But sure enough, it was!! It's a space shooter, the only English I can find is the word "Macross" by Zamuse. Any clues about this game or its unusual packaging?? The Keeper :/
