Hmm is a Sega Nomad rarer then a top loader?

My rarest would either be my Coleco Adam or my Microvision.

I've been looking for a Imagination Machine for a long time. I got the Basic cartridge years ago, but with the IM it's useless. What is this "J" connector?

BTW have you tried your M1000 on a large TV? I found that mine won't work on anything bigger than a 16" TV.

The "J" connector (my term) is what connects the M1000 to the IM. The short end goes into the M1000 as it sits on the IM, the long end goes into the first of the 2 cartridge slots on the IM. Then carts can be played through the 2nd slot on the IM. Viewed from the side, it literally looks like a block letter capital "J".

And I'm pretty sure I had it hooked up to a 19" TV at one point.

You know I'm lame when I'm thinking I should do some research into my inventory to answer this question.

    Perhaps it's my Adventurevision.
Perhaps my Bandai Arcadia complete in box.
Or maybe my Haminex Ramses (Creativision clone.)
I do have a Super Cassette Vision Lady in the mail. She's a beauty.

Too bad only Slapdash will recognize all 4 of those. I think my goal in collecting is strictly to make Russ Perry jealous. How's it going Russ?

And let me state, for the record, that there is nothing lame about claiming your NES or Wonderswan are your rarest items. At least you have fun systems! Most of this crap I dig collecting are not for play- just for looks. I definitely would be just as well off if I was just sitting here with an NES and 10 choice carts. I'd probably be having more fun playing them than I would struggling to pay for rare systems I won't play.

Heh, well, you've only got me on 3 of the 4, as I at least have the SCV Lady already. I might have gotten a Bandai Arcadia, but the cost would have been exorbitant.

Well it used to be a Pink Hello Kitty dreamcast, but traded it for a Turbo Duo and Turbo Express. Second place NES top loader (a hand me back from my dad when NES Open died on him and we got him a PSX and Hot Shots Golf...)

Now, why would I do that...

Well, I wasn't going to list EVERYTHING... I never know if obscurity really means rarity in these cases.

(Oh, and re-reading the thread, I think Ianoid did you a disservice figuring that I'd be the only one that recognized the 4 systems he mentioned)

    Hi Russ,

(Oh, and re-reading the thread, I think Ianoid did you a disservice figuring that I'd be the only one that recognized the 4 systems he mentioned)
Well depends on his point of view. We all know that you're a game console collector. Since you're posting very more often than me, Ian must have think that i was gone, dead or something.

There's too many game systems that we could label "RARE", especially the ones that are too weird or obscure to be known.

For now, i can't say anything about a project i'm working on but it does relate to video games. If i can finished this project, i'll be in heaven! :P ('nuff said!).
