I asked this question on AA, didn't get much of a reply so I'm going to give it a shot here:

SafariLand: a amusemnet place down the street from the location that VGS is
    at is sponsoring us again.
Last year they offered us to come over after the show.
Unforturnealy there wasn't musch interest in at the time.
I'm going see if we can get enough people for it this time.
the package deal I'm going for is: pizza, beverage, gaming(5.00 game card)
and Bowling. the cost is 9.00 per person (i need 15 people at least)
here is the url to place incase some you don't know:

Ihaven't posted anything since jan on this fourm(boy am I behind(I've been doing it mostly on AA and newsgroups) this should make up for it:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Atari Video Club announces Spy Games tournament for VGS'04

    For Immediate Release:

Atari Video Club/Jaguar Comunnity United is pleased to announce the following details for Spy Games tourney. For those who don't know what Spy Games is here's the basics:
The tourney style will be known as Spy Games in which eight players will be chosen to compete in games in order to add prizes to final prize package and one of the eight players will be known as the Spy, a player who was chosen to make sure the prizes don’t get added. (If this sounds familiar to you it should because I got the idea after watching “Celebrity Mole” on ABC-TV (I also thought about doing something like this last year,
but never went through with it)) Also like the TV show, after each game a quiz will be taken about each player to figure out who is the Spy, the player who scored low on the quiz will be eliminated. Now here’s the twist, there will be no exemptions, so everybody is a risk, plus at the end of tourney The Spy will get a chance to win the prize package when the Spy will play against the player who figured out who is the Spy. Also visitors to the show will be able to guess who is the Spy (hint’s will be hidden the program, plus
they will be able to watch the players as well).
Now For the details on how to enter a chance to take part in Spy Games:
You entry is based on your high score of one of the games listed below.
2600: Star Wars: Death Star Battle
    5200: Defender
    7800:Xevious
    Lynx:Remmant
Jaguar: Protector(it can be Regular or Special Edition version)
(You must be able to attend the The 2004 Video Game Summit to enter)
submit you scores as often as you like(the higher the score the
    better your chances)
you must play the game you have chosen(you Can Not change the game)
Submit you scores by e-mailing me using the subject "Spy Games" or
online at the Atari Bowl page(formerly the Atari Mania page) at
AVC online(a button to the Atari Bowl page is at the VGS registration
on the information form) Your score will be listed on the Atari bowl stnadings
(but it will not effect Atari bowl ratings)
the top eight scores will be notified when contest is over,
June 30th,2004 is the final day of entry.
Good luck to all who enter

The 2004 Video Game Summit is being held on July 17th, 2004 from 9am to 6pm at the Fairfeild Inn and Suites hotel (Heron Point Building) formerly the Quality Inn and suites hotel 645 West North Avenue, Lombard, IL.

I'm working out trying to go there.

I may also be interested in a table, etc. Please e-mail me any info you deem needed to

    larsoncc AT fatmangames DOT com

Thanks. If I get a table, I'm hoping to show off some fairly neat stuff, like some betas - if possible, given the location. Any idea if you'll have NET connectivity to the tables?

we are now looking at amonth away from VGS'04.
still plenty of table avaiable but that might not last.
the local pioner press paper by me has put a mention in the paper after Ient them a PR a week ago, another paper is going to have flyers inserted a week before the show(july 9th and 11th) (that cost but I might be able to recoup on t-shirt and hat sales as well as raffle sales If I think I what the attendance is going to be) The suntimes listed the show in the summer section (location and free admission no website) and video game collector is going to have a listing inthier first issue (same as the suntimes).
Iplan to announce the tentative schedule soon.

I had problems with tthe printer at the paper that was going to do our flyers so I decided to cancel my flyer order(I'll try to get some flyers out next week though on my day off)
