xbox hard drives

i opened up my xbox to work on it........and my hard drive hasn't arrived yet but i was going to deal with the smaller drive until my 120gb seagate came. and to my suprise, it came with a 20 gb seagate hard drive anyways. has anybody else looked at theirs? what size was your hard drive?

just a curiousity kinda thing........

I don't really want to open an XBOX up so I'm just going to order one with a Mod Chip and Hard Drive previously installed. I think they put 120 Gb drives in them.

When the Xbox was first released, they found that it had either 8 or 10 gig hard drives in them. If I remember correctly, an unmodded Xbox always treats it's HDD as an 8gb HDD regardless of it's actual size.

sounds just right to me. and i could be wrong. but when i opened it up.......it says LBA 19,xxx,xxx.........i think something about like that. i don't have it here or i would look but it's a seagate......and my friend has worked on a bunch and only seen WD hard drives......
