one time collector of consoles...I've had them all, literally. I'm now selling everything to raise money for Northwest Harvest, a charity that provides food and clothing for families in need in the Northwestern United States.
I have to ask, what is that yellow sticker/seal thing on the front of the 32X mushroom?
the sticker is an attention sticker for the 32x spacer. It says, and I quote...
"ATTENTION (next line) Please remove this spacer before inserting into the original genesis model (=1601)"
The space is because the model 1 let the cartridges go in deeper than the model 2 making the spacer a requirement for use with a model two. As you can tell, it has the spacer and sticker, so whoever last used it had a model 2.

Okay, my spacer didn't have that sticker on it. Must have been removed by the previous owner or just wasn't included on some models.
