Do Famicom or NES ROM Dumper Schematic/Plans exist on the net anywhere? I have a bunch of pirate cartridges I'd like to dump.
Thx.

sometimes pirate carts have strange mappers or other sick bankswitching electronics that prevent them from working in emulators.
i dont know about nes,but its like that with some snes multicarts i own.
[edit]
i mean, its useless to dump them, because you want to release them so everyone can play it on emu, right?
if its a dip mask rom,you can sure dump it with every eprom programmer.
but most pirate carts have the DIE directly on the pcb, covered with epoxy stuff, wich makes dumping the rom more diificult.
youd have to make an adapter to plug the nes cart into your eprom programmer and youd have to connect the upper address lines(that go to the bankswitching circuit) of the mask rom manually to your programmer in addition to that...not really worth the effort
If it's single game, I can give it a shot. If it's multi, I really really doubt it.
I really don't know anyone else who will dump NES games anymore, and I don't have schematics for my CopyNES, so...
