    Default Need SMS A/C adaptor

    Well my roommate lost his power cable while moving and he hasn't been coping well with it (yesterday I saw him reading a book). Help my buddy out!!

    Usually a common Genesis 1 AC adapter will do the trick.

    You can even go down to the store and get one of those multi volt AC adapters. As long as it's over 850 ma your OK

    Default SMS Power

    While it's 10v instead of 9v, it still works. I stripped the yellow cap from a Genesis II Power Adaptor and reversed the polarity on the tip, works like a charm.

    Except the higher voltage could damage your system

    You know, I don't think I've EVER had a Genesis-1 AC adapter that DIDN'T say 10 Volts.

    Strange. All of mine are 9V@1.2A (Model 1602). I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't 9V.
