Default PS2 - Swap Magic 2.0 - Anyone know about it

Just found this product on Winsunx.com

    http://www.winsunx.com/item_detail.php-itemID=149.php

Does anyone know anything about this? What is the "Slide tool?". I've seen the "butter knife" trick in action, anyone think it's similar to that? I'd love to be able to play imports as well as what the product description calls "your own PS2 games".

    Ditto that!

I'm assuming this will let you play import ps1 and ps2 games too (it doesn't specifically say)

I'm definitely in the market for something like this.

Ok, as I feared you DO have to deface your PS2 in order for this thing to work. Here are the instructions for the item:

seems like too much of a hassle just to play a game. I dont mind disk swapping, but I dont want to Ugly-ify me beloved PS2. ^_^

Most people don't think that it's really worth it.

There was an old thread about it here:

No thanks. Id rather try that flip top mod.

I really would like someone to develop a USB plug MOD with no soldering at all.

this might help out. rather than using a kitchen knife (christ, people are really doing that) print this out and cut it out on a old credit card or something. works great.
