    Default RF Atari 2600 joysticks??

Well, I was visiting an old college friend a few months ago in the twin cities. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the largest frickn widescreen tv I had ever seen. The next thing I noticed was the only thing he had connected up to it was an atari 2600 with 2 RF controllers.

I had no idea they made ever made this, can someone help me out in getting more info on these things and how much I might expect to pay for a pair?

----oh ya, pitfall and jungle hunt on that tv were awsome!

    You mean these?

I think they probably'd go for around $25 or $30 bucks.

ya, but they had the wood-grain on them to match the console (and I dont remember them being nearly that thick, but maybe they were).

    Yeah, sorry about that

The sticks in that picture are Atari brand, by the way. Maybe your friend's were third party?

    scoots, thanks for the dirt.

and no I am quite positive that they were atari branded.

anyways, I'm just glad to hear that they (hopefully) dont cost an arm and a leg, because I would really like to pick up a set.

Anyone got a pair for trade??

We had a pair of those as well. Ours were Atari brand, but had a telescoping antenna instead of the one in that picture. I remember playing River Raid on ours as a kid. There were batteries that went in the base (which not only made them big but a bit heavy).
