You're right, I've played Lost Stars.
Maybe this is akin to first play Pac-Land and decide that all Pac-Man games suck, based on this one game?
Still, I'd try out Miracle World via emulation before actually buying a copy for my SMS.

What you say?? I love Pac Land. It's just so very different. Given the choice, I would take a Pac Land cabinet over a Ms. Pac Man any day.Originally Posted by Lady Jaye
Now, now...High Tech World is what I was referring to. Between that and some of the horrible, HORRIBLE box art on the US/European releases, you'll understand my being scared away from this series. He's one of the worst system mascots (if you can even grant him that; it seems Sega intended him to be, if only in a sort of glorified Gex the Gecko style) ever.Originally Posted by Raccoon Lad

Actually, the Japanese box art isn't much better.
Screwed either way, then
@DavidBrit: You're serious about Pac-Land?!? You're sure you don't mean Pac-Mania? Now, Pac-Mania I like!
Pac-Land would have been better IMHO if those damn springboards were easier to jump off of. F%$@&$-ing springboards, I ALWAYS die from not being able to hit the jump button the exact millisecond you're supposed to.
Nope. I mean Pac Land. I own a copy for TG-16, PSX (Namco Museum,) and I've played it to death on my MAME cabinet. Once you get the hang of the spring boards, the game is a blast, and a hell of a white-knuckler at times. It's a little like a platformer from the era when the genre was almost totally undefined.Originally Posted by Lady Jaye
Now we have Donkey Kong Country. Ugh.

Megaman... Several Mario games, and Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3! Any of the million Sims games, Earthbound, and the Tekken series. And several sports games.
