A while back I registered and tried to find out if they were interested in investors...Apparently no, so it must all be private.

There's a steady influx of people insisting that they call the whole thing a hoax, and as it's certainly not a hoax (now a scam against your wallet... :P) this just wastes everybody's time and makes sure real questions don't get asked.

It seems to me that the thing's nothing but a box with a PC inside it, and while some people on that forum seem to think that that's a-OK for a game machine, it's not really. I do think that the Phantom folks have a good head start towards getting everything wrapped up, but it seems to me that most of the work has been towards providing a "secure" environment. That's good for people who don't like their always-connected machine to get hacked, bad for pirates...

Seems there's not much else going for the thing, though.

Oh and they've got a pic up somewhere with this silly kid playing one on a 50-inch TV (or close, anyways, it's probably a bit smaller) and boy, it is the dirtiest TV I have ever seen, pictures or otherwise. This was thrown out to the community as further proof of the machine in action.

The funny thing is, looking over my post Here (account required to view) it's obvious that the people who know anything aren't posting (Phantom) or aren't posting much, like...myself, I hate to admit.

The sad thing is...the Phantom fans over there are, by and large, incapable of logical thought and looking for any chance to say, and I quote,

now this is what some of these people need, a shred of proof that thier "hoax" is in fact in their head.

I know there's a lot of idiocy on the non-Phantom side, but at least as long as I was going there it seemed to me that all the Phantom fans were simply taking every argument and trying to turn it into that discussion again. Pathetic really.

Forgot to mention...Bumbico, a poster (I think a mod, too) over there, has his head on his shoulders. Of course this means that he was accused of being a troll at least once that I saw.
