Default Whoa, it's like 1980 all over again

I don't think I can ever remember this happening before.

I was in the arcade tonight, and a stranger approached me asking about some strategies I was using. This was not on Soul Calibur 2, Tekken, or even DDR. It was Crazy Taxi. I didn't realize people still asked about scoring strategy anymore, especially for games that have been out for a couple years. Freaky.

Could this be an allusion to a resurrection of arcades? If we keep loving games from the past, then we'll be seeing a coin-op Neo Geo in every mall we go to, a Donkey Kong in every pizza place, a Shinobi in every supermarket! I can feel a rebirth coming this way... I am prepared.

That's it! Next stop: The Junkyard. Population: You!

Whoever wins, the battle doesn't end. The loser is freed from the battlefield, but the winner must remain there, and the survivor must live his life as the warrior until he dies.

Derby Owners Club, has gotten middle age and young from just sitting at the bar to actually playing, asking questions, how to do whatever....looking over your shoulder... and argue about who's next. it's quite a flashback...it rocks.

as for new arcade/bars....i perfer to have tokens over those damn cards.

    --------------------------
as far as that goes....I have used some pop machines that took those Sacagawea Dollars...has anyone seen any arcade machines that take them? or did this coin just die?
My life and perception has changed, but my principals are the same.

I hope that arcades start a revival. All of the arcades around here, except Nickel City, have no classics.

I also hate those stupid cards, especially when a machine doesnt take it, and is screwed up.

When they bring back the beat-em-up, I'll go back. Until then, fudge ya.
