Default The "Most Common & Complete" Award

I went to the flea market yesterday, and naturally I began to sift through the 16 bit games. They're in a cardboard box, so naturally the games aren't in any kind of order. I knew there would be nothing but commons, y'know, the usual stuff like Zoop, Super Mario World, Super R-Type, NBA Jam, Clayfighter, and Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball. They're all dreadfully common but they're always loose. As I searched through what appeared to be a sea of sports titles, I noticed there were already nine factory sealed copies of Super Tennis piled ontop of the loose carts, plus another four in unsealed boxes that appeared to be untouched. Nevermind the nineteen loose copies in the mass of games; the fact that thirteen complete copies of the same game resided in the same flea market cardboard box caught my attention.

Super Tennis gets the award for "Most Common & Complete" game, unless anyone has another candidate...

    Do you?

How much would it cost me to get you to get your behind back at that flea market and pick me up one of those boxed Super Tennis games? I don't care about the shrinkwrap, all I want is the box and manual.

@PC Kwajalein, ! I thought that was just a weird quirk out here in INdy! I swear evey body who sells video games out here has multiple sealed copies of Super Tennis. I'm beginning to wonder if that was like the "2600 Pac-Man" of the SNES (in terms of production numbers, I know the game is much better.)

    Default Also, Football

Yes, Tennis. Also, that Football one.

There were a couple of NES titles that did the same thing - Star Tropics 2 was one of 'em... I forget the others.

    Default Indeed...

I've seen a bizillion copies of Super Tennis... I had 4 or 5 copies at one time. I sold a few games on E-Bay, and enclosed a a Super Tennis with each shipment and advertised it in the listing as a "special sealed bonus game."

There are countless copies of Fighting Vipers for the Saturn floating around out there... it seems Sega was really hoping it would be a hot seller during the 1996 season, but few people had heard of the arcade game and fewer people bought it, leaving the game WAYYYY overproduced.
