Default zelda collector's disc, descriptions not clear enough?

well I've read through all of the posts on how to get the collector's disc. and maybe i'm out of line for posting a new topic, but can you register your 2 games and your cube to get the collector's disc AND sign up for NP and get that one as well......so you get 2 of the collector's disc?

and other people that have questions not answered by all of the original threads could feel free to post here, but i would recommend reading through the threads a couple time to make sure it's not already answered. maybe this is one of those questions

That is correct, sir. You can get two discs that way. You can subscribe for up to 5 zelda discs with 5 subscriptions.

Well, if you have to get another NP sub they might complain at the bill suddenly showing up on their doorstep :D

Now I'm wondering...can you register more than one GameCube?

Or can you register a Gamecube that comes with the Zelda disc along with 2 games and get another copy of the disc?

that's the question i was asking........

and each person(or address) can only do the gamecube registration with the 2 games once. i'm pretty sure i read that somewhere. but if i did register the gamecube from the bundle at somebody elses addy and username......then register 2 games and get the disc. sounds right to me......

If they do let you use a gamecube that comes with the disc, and reg 2 games, and then sign up for NP you could get 3.

Thats assuming that the disc comes in the box with the new cube.

A heads up to my fellow Canucks. We "can't/aren't supposed to" the online subscription sign up. Give 'em a call.

And a heads up to my American friends: if you try to call they'll tell you to use the website (according to the rep I just spoke to) and sign up for a "My Nintendo" account.

I actually used the website not realizing it said "Available only in US" at the bottom of the screen. So far it's *looked* like it's accepted my subscription (with my Canadian address), but I called right after I realized what was up and the rep assured me I'll get an email back letting me know they can't process it. So I just signed up with her over the phone.

Now I just have to wait 2 weeks for my free Zelda disc!

Yep. I've spoken to more people from Ontario in the last two days than the whole of my life combined. I haven't spoken to anyone I know (yet), but I did get a call from a guy whose email domain address was some classic gaming website, but I didn't recognize his name.

I did use my email infoATclassicvideogamesDOTca, and the person I talked to said something like "Oh, you have a classic gaming web site?" I said yes, and they said it's right up my alley... maybe it was me you were talking to...

Haha yes it was! Yay after all these years I finally got to talk to someone from the Boards on the phone! I should come up with a secret question so that other people will know when they've talked to me :D

Well I had an interesting email this morning from Nintendo.com. Told me that I had qualified for the Zelda second bonus disc and that it would be off in the mail and I'd receive it (well it'll go to QoF's address!) in the next couple of weeks. Fine and dandy you think eh?

Except I haven't even received my copies of MKDD and Mario&Luigi I was going to use in the promotion, let alone actually register them yet! Weird... I'll still register them just in case I got the email by accident, but no doubt something is afoot. Of course it will be even better if I register the two games and then get ANOTHER disc from that. QoF WILL be pleased

heh heh - I'd forgotten you manned the phones for the big N. That would've been something else - actually chatting with you. Maybe next time
