No, it isn't rare. There is no way it's going to sell for the $70 asking price. The seller is just an idiot.

The Euro version is one of the rarest PAL Megadrive games, however. That doesn't mean this auction isn't ridiculous though.

The Euro version is certainly fairly thin on the ground - but I have still never seen it go for anything approaching that amount. Perhaps £10 - £15 ($20 - $25) - but no more.

His prices for his other games are pretty ridiculous too. $20 for TMNT Hyperstone Hiest? I'm sitting on a goldmine! Time to sell off all of my Sonic 2's for $15 a pop.

Some of his 6-game auction prices are ok...but the prices for his complete games are downright EXPENSIVE

I don't think it would be too insane if his BIN was $30 to $40. I remember seeing it hit that high pretty regularly a year ago.

For that price, the cart should at least not have a sticker right on the label either.

I have it! Make me an offer and we'll talk. It has no manual but there is what looks like remanants of a video store label on it. It isn't touching the game's label though and could probably be removed with a little effort. Let me know.

Actually, this IS one of the harder to find Genesis games... it may deserve the moniker "rare". It came out in mid 1996 when Sega was putting most of their marketing behind the Saturn. This is the only console port of the arcade game (it was supposed to come out on tne SNES as well, but was cancelled.)

That being said, this price is still too high, especially considering the rental sticker slapped on the front.

This game REALLY SUCKS by the way... the control is terrible and the graphics are almost NES quality.
