Default Permanent Marker On PsX CD's

I'm sure this topic has been asked multiple times but can the marker be removed with an agent like goof off without ruining the cd label? I just purchased a rental copy of dragonball GT final bout us in the 9.99 buy 2 get 1 free deal, meaning to clean this copy up, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I've used just regular rubbing alcohol you can buy at a drug store , that is like 70% alcohol, and cotton balls. It'll work but you'll need to do a good job wiping and a use several cotton balls to get off all lettering. I wouldn't use anything stronger than that or you'll damage the paint.

Thats a hell of a find, I must say.

I paid $50 for a disc only copy.

Then again, I sold a second disc only copy for $200 cash

    Gigantic cage?

Is this something that is out in the open for everyone to view? Or did you have to ask to see it?

The BB up here only has a small handful of pre-next gen stuff out.
