Default I found a new Nes prototype !

I think it's a proto.I found it in my own Nes collection that I have since many years in the content of my drawers!

I haved just notice yesterday one aim missing behind the case.At the place of aim in the bottom of the small hole, there was a kind of metal plate. I found it strange,so I opened it! Surprise was electric slap! There were three pieces thant maintained the parts in place in the plastic case. The unit is divide in two parts, the first is Game convertor to play Japanese (famicom) game . The second is the principal chart. On the other side you can see 2 small chipswith a lot of purples wires. It's a very nice job.

The Game is a Pirate copy of first Mario Bros. It is called also Mario Invisible or Bros.Part 2.It there no sticking on the case which says (sample or proto). But it east write Super Mario Bros 2 and with some Japanese sign. Mario, Peach and Toad are on the label color! I do not arrive has to believe that I had this with my things since years! For information purposes I had to find it at the St-Felix de Valois flea market at Quebec, many years before... And it is not a dirty trick! I'm very serious because im also Nes collector and a honest person.

Well.. that is certainly something. My guess is it's a pirate famicom board somebody hacked into a Nintendo cart with one of the Gyromite/Hogan's Alley/ExciteBike converters. Duct tape.. that's classic.

I know that this is a little OT, but are you French/ a native French speaker/ in France?

Do you have any pictures of what the game is like running on a TV?

If the game is a pirate, then it is a pirated copy of Super Mario Bros. However, even pirate companies probably have game "prototypes" of sorts to test the code that they hacked/reverse-engineered.

Red is probably right, as others have said. Interesting though.

I have a Super Mario Bros Lost Levels cartridge for the Nes (not the Famicom) I haven´t opened it, but it seems similar to the description made about it

i'm sorry, i dont have any picture of the game running on a TV for now. but i will do it for you as short as possible. I'm agree with the idea of TMR. It's probaly a proto of a pirate compagnie.

Protos of unlicensed/pirated companies, I have no idea why the heck everyone is into them...

Sachen games are all handmade with EPROMS, are they protos? Sachen for god's sake? Taiwanese Bootlegs? Pyramid by AVE? ACK! Ok, time to play Nintendo.

Look, it's a damned pirate. Pirates can use EPROMs too. If you really want me to dump it, I will, but I'm not paying to ship it back to you.

And to DreamTR: please stop referring to Sachen games as bootlegs. They're legit, original games that aren't licensed by Nintendo. That doesn't fucking make them bootlegs.
