Solid SNake. Hes been around longer and just a more known. Im not saying Sam Fisher can't prove himself in games to come though.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text

Garrett from the Thief games would kill both of those guys before they even knew what was happening.
You are startled by a grim snarl. Before you, you see 1 Red dragon. Will your stalwart band choose to (F)ight or (R)un?

    Solid Snake.

Garrett would get MURDERED trying to go through some of the scenarios in the metal gear games.

Flonne from Disgaea. She's a ninja. Sort of.

How about that Ninja guy in Tenchu? Forgot his name. I voted for Snake. But Sam Fisher is one bad MOFO.

Another vote for Solid Snake, only because he has inspired me to sneak around, at work, with large boxes on my head.
RIP Kamino. 1984-2010. Yes, yes I do like nes...

<+skaar> Maybe you should ask yourself "What is it about me that makes men not want to let me penetrate them?"

To "MURDER" him they'd have to see him first, and that's not terribly likely since he has the invisibility gem that for whatever reason they refuse to use in other games (i.e. - Deus Ex...).

    Invisibility gem?

Guess I must not have played that far into the game.

Is Sam Fisher the guy from those stupid Tom Clancy games?

Bah. Solid Snake can beat up a cyborg ninja. It doesn't get much cooler than that.
